Join our Membership!

There are many ways to support Gwaandak Theatre outside of our regular programming. Become a Society Member to enjoy many benefits— including members-only parties, artistic supports, as well as access to Gwaandak’s office space and equipment. You’ll also have the opportunity to influence the future of the company through feedback and electing the Board of Directors.

Membership Fee: $5 for the Season (renew after July 31st). If finances are a barrier, please let us know.

More Information about Society Membership

As a not for profit society, Gwaandak Theatre Society is governed by a Board of Directors, who are elected by the Society Members. Ultimately, the company serves the membership and the members have control over the company. Gwaandak would like to increase the feeling of community, connection, and ownership over the Theatre by increasing our membership base.

Who should join the membership?

If you like watching our work, or working with us, you can join the membership! That’s all we are looking for — the people who already work with us, or who already come to our shows, to say, “Yes, I would like to be more involved by helping elect the board each year!”

Membership Benefits:

Access to our members-only events, which in the past have included a halloween party, a winter solstice potluck, a surprise March event, special invites to Awaken events, a June BBQ Blowout to kick off Indigenous Summer Play Readings, and more!

Additionally, you’ll receive:

  • Forwards from AD Colin Wolf about gigs or offers from outside of Gwaandak that you may be eligible for;

  • Support in writing applications and grants;

  • Access to Gwaandak Theatre office space, equipment, and Play Lending Library;

  • A 15% discount on equipment rentals.

Upcoming Members-Only Events

Members are invited to RSVP for the Quick n’ Dirty Digital Cabaret In-Person Watch Parties taking place on April 23rd and April 25th at the Old Fire Hall! Find out more about this year’s digital cabarets here.
