Gwaandak Theatre also continued its emphasis on nurturing new stories for the stage, offering a week’s writing residency to Dene/Inuk playwright Reneltta Arluk, as she completes her new play Tookoolito, inspired by the true story of the 19th century Inuk heroine who balanced life in both Inuit and European worlds.
