“The Power of the Playwright” Panel

Our day starts with a panel of guest and local playwrights who will discuss the power that a playwright has to transform the world through theare creation. Panelists are Leonard Linklater, Kevin Loring, and Donna-Michelle St. Bernard. Moderated by PGC regional representative, Kevin Kennedy.

“From Page to Stage” Marketing Workshop

Local and established playwright, Brian Fidler, Gwaandak Theatre’s Artistic Director, Patti Flather, and Nakai Theatre’s Artistic Director, Jacob Zimmer will share their perspectives on promoting plays and creating professional relationships in theatre. PGC will then facilitate a workshop in which you can build your own toolbox of fresh and creative marketing ideas. Participants will collaborate in small groups to design a visual Marketing Plan for each artist’s current or upcoming project.

Spring Thaw Play Readings

The entire Yukon community is invited to experience four short play readings by guest and local playwrights. Featured playwrights include Reneltta Arluk, Wren Brian, Kevin Loring, Donna-Michelle St. Bernard, and Doug Rutherford.


Conference participants and the Yukon Community plan to gather at the Dirty Nothern on Main Street after the Spring Thaw Readings.

Dinner will be provided to registered conference participants.
